Friends Only [Feb. 9th, 2020|03:13 pm]

made by [info]crystalic_chick

(Oh! Everyone who is currently on my list is staying.)

If you want me to add you, please leave a comment. I will pretty much add you unless I go to your journal and you're just way too annoying for me. If you want to know more about me before adding me, read my userinfo. It pretty much says it all, and I update it about once a month. So it's recent.

My MITM4E pictures - taken May 30th, 2009 [Jun. 1st, 2009|04:46 pm]
[I am | accomplished]

These are my pictures from Meet in the Middle 4 Equality, May 30th, 2009 from Fresno City Hall.

They show many signs (none of which were made by me). If you appear here and do not want to, please let me know and I will take your picture down as soon as possible (there is no need to get nasty, I promise I will do it as soon as I am able to get your e-mail). There are a LOT of photos under the cut, so be prepared for the loading time (I took over 200 photos).
If you'd like to use them for a story or for your personal use, I ask that you please contact me first.

This day CHANGED MY LIFE. I have always been an avid supporter of the LGBT movement, and will forever be. I am your straight ally and you can always count on me for anything!

Oh yeah- You will not find David Lance Black or Cleve Jones under the cut- my friend had to leave so we left before they came out =(

CLICK HERE TO SEE THE PICTURES )

Well, I hope you enjoyed the pics! And if you don't have a LiveJournal, please leave how I can reach you (twitter, facebook, myspace) if you'd like to chat more or whatever!

October 2008 - September 2009 [Oct. 4th, 2008|09:59 pm]
I can't believe it's been a year since I did this, but here it goes again!

Last year, I read 17,551 pages! I exceeded my goal by almost 8,000 pages, and the year before, I only read 8,000 pages, so that was freaking awesome! I read a lot of good books, and though I didn't quite keep up with my reviews, I still wrote a lot about the books and learned a lot from a lot of them. You can go to my books read page in my info to see what I've been reading.

My goal for this next year is 12,000 pages. Again, it will be linked in my info if you ever want to check back. This list does not include re-reads or school-related materials.
All number figures are either taken from fresnolibrary.org (my county library system) or amazon.com.

Book List, Oct 2007 - Sept 2008 [Oct. 14th, 2007|11:55 am]
Here is my booklist for October 2007 - September 2008.
I am going about it a little differently this time. I will only add books as I read them. I also may be doing book reviews, which I will link to from this page.
My goal last year was to read 10,000 pages, which I missed by almost 2,000 pages. My goal this time around is to meet and exceed 10,000 pages.

As with the last time, it goes
Book name by Author Name (page count by amazon.com, or fresnolibrary.org)
The title will be bolded if I've done a review.
(Books are put under the month that I finished them.)

Book List, Oct 2006 - Sept 2007 [Dec. 6th, 2005|03:12 am]
I am creating a list of the books I am reading for Oct 2006 - Sept 2007.
I will continue this list until October of 2007, and then I shall start again.
THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE BOOKS FOR SCHOOL.

THE BOOK LIST, OCTOBER 2006- SEPTEMBER 2007 )

UPDATE: 10/14/07
The official tally for my yearly page count is 8,042. My goal was 10,000, but I didn't hit too far off, especially considering how hectic these last few months have been for me.

I am going to be starting my next tally soon!
